Rehabilitated sea turtle heads back to the Florida Keys after one last 'spa treatment'

A successful sea turtle recovery ended in a last bit of pampering before a release back into the ocean.

A TikTok video from The Turtle Hospital (@turtlehospital) shows Timmy receiving her final spa treatment ahead of returning to the Florida Keys.

Timmy is seen getting a full scrub around the top of her head, followed by a quick shower. 

"See you at the beach when this matriarch is returned to her ocean home!" the caption read.

One commenter wrote, "Those beautiful eyes can tell a story!" 

Another added, "You never really grasp how big these beautiful creatures are until you see a hand next to its head!"
