After plunging 50 feet into a cave, a dog named Remi was brought back to the surface unharmed in a rescue carried out by a specialized team.

WLKY reported that rescuers used a haul system to reach and recover Remi after the dog fell into a cave in Harrison County, Indiana, according to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
The agency said the owners contacted the Indiana Conservation Officers Cave Rescue Team for help, and that one Indiana Conservation Officer and a seasoned local caver went down into the cave while two other conservation officers set up the equipment needed for the extraction.
