A shelter dog in Hawaiʻi has spent several months waiting for someone to adopt him. Meanwhile, according to a short video shared on social media, not a single person has even asked to meet Max, a three-legged dog at the Maui Humane Society.

Parade Pets noted in mid-August that Max ended up at the Maui Humane Society after his family moved and he "wasn't allowed to come." The video describes him as the "sweetest, friendliest boy," while suggesting that being a "tripod" dog may be making it harder for adopters to consider bringing him home.
