Behind TJ Maxx, one dumpster diver gave the internet an unfiltered look at retail waste, uncovering a comforter set, perfume, candles, frames, and seasonal decor that seemed at least partly usable.

The rest of the clip shows a mix of household and decor items, including a trash can, what appeared to be perfume, picture frames, a mirror-backed decor piece, and broken candles whose wax still seemed usable. Some items were clearly damaged, while others looked salvageable or only lightly flawed.
Commenters quickly zeroed in on that disconnect. One wrote, "why don't they just donate this sh*t like? Why break 'em, draw on them, toss 'em, like wth, it don't make no sense."
Another said, "Man, I wish my store would be like yours, but instead, they just make sure it's all broken beyond repair."
