Walmart bakery rolls sold in 19 states are part of a large recall after concerns that the Pillsbury frozen dough used to make them could contain pieces of glass.
According to Top Class Actions, the recall involves more than 735,000 rolls.
What happened?
Only Walmart in-store bakeries sold the affected products, which were made from two Pillsbury frozen dough items baked at the stores.
The dough was distributed to locations in 19 states: Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Montana, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wyoming.
As Top Class Actions noted, the recall enforcement notice indicates the products may contain "potential foreign material (glass)."
Since the dough was baked in-store, some shoppers may have purchased finished rolls from a bakery case instead of a packaged frozen item.

One recalled product is Hard Roll Dough, with 3,080 cases totaling 554,400 rolls. The other is Kaiser Roll Dough, with 1,260 cases totaling 181,440 rolls.
Their recall numbers are H-1154-2026 for Hard Roll Dough and H-1155-2026 for Kaiser Roll Dough. Both were distributed by General Mills Sales in Minneapolis.
Why does it matter?
The Food and Drug Administration labeled the action a Class II recall.
That category is used when products may cause temporary or reversible health effects and are less likely to lead to more serious harm.

Because the dough was baked onsite, consumers may not have labels or lot information at home to quickly determine whether what they bought came from the recalled supply.
Purchasers aware of the initial Pillsbury recall also might not connect products sold at Walmart's on-site bakeries to the affected products.
What can I do?
If you purchased rolls from a Walmart in-store bakery in one of the affected states, do not eat them if you are unsure.
Customers may need to contact the specific Walmart store where they shopped to ask whether its bakery used the recalled Hard Roll Dough or Kaiser Roll Dough.
It is also wise to watch for posted store notices and keep receipts for bakery purchases when possible.
If someone may have swallowed a foreign object and experiences pain, bleeding, or choking, they should seek medical attention promptly.
General Mills said it had not received any reports of injury or illness related to the recall.
