A pit bull puppy survived a frightening ordeal in Indianapolis when rescuers tracked her cries to a sewer drain beneath the street and pulled her free.

As Hoodline reported, Indianapolis Animal Care Services and the Wayne Township Fire Department responded first, before calling in the Indianapolis Fire Department's Confined Space Rescue Team, which freed the puppy by 6:41 p.m.
