Heavy rain in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, on Wednesday brought flooding to several areas and made some roads inaccessible, according to the Malay Mail.
Rescuers had to work quickly to save a kindergarten and nursery school when floodwaters rose faster than adults could move the children to safety.

The Malay Mail reported that firefighters in Johor Bahru evacuated 37 children and seven teachers after flooding at Umiku Sayang Kindergarten and Nursery on Jalan Muhd Amin.
They received a distress call at 3:53 p.m., according to Larkin Fire and Rescue Station operations commander Senior Fire Officer I Nakish Nekmat. The station sent 10 firefighters to the location.
After the rescue, crews brought the evacuees to the nearby Tepian Food Court Surau.
"All victims were successfully evacuated, and no injuries were reported," Nakish Nekmat said in a statement, per the Malay Mail.
