A creator and wildlife rehabilitator took to Instagram to share footage of the incredible insects that inhabit Ecuadorian forests — and to pitch a unique fundraising pledge.

Zach O'Neill (@natural_selections_) shared video of a "cotton-candy" colored cicada, two large scorpions, and a bullet ant, a creature known for its extremely painful bite.
In the short clip, O'Neill offered viewers an up-close look at the insects, along with some humorous commentary.
Aside from the bugs, O'Neill explained that if people can help reach a funding goal of $2,000 for a new truck for a wildlife rehabilitation center, he would willingly get stung by a bullet ant.
"Aim higher for that bullet ant sting!" one person remarked.
