Price was a big part of the video's pitch. The creator said the EV3 starts at just under $30,000 and added that Kia is offering "an additional $1,500 off right now," which he said helps position it among the more affordable EV options in the United States.

"It's called the EV3, and even though it kind of looks like an SUV, it's really much more of a hatchback," he said. "You can kind of think of it like an electric Honda Fit, or Kia's answer to the Chevy Bolt."
Lease pricing starts around $350, while the lineup stretches to a GT version priced at about $46,000 with 288 horsepower. Range starts at 221 miles on the base trim and rises to 321 miles on higher trims.
