A $200 million superyacht off the coast of Mallorca drew attention, bringing a striking display of private luxury within sight of a public beach and promenade.

Equipped with a glass-bottom swimming pool, the vessel anchored just 1,970 feet from shore at Camp de Mar.

Here's what to know

Netto II is an 80-meter yacht delivered by Dutch shipyard Amels Yachting in 2026, according to the Majorca Daily Bulletin. It described the owner as an American gaming-industry businessman, though it did not name him.

The arrival was part of a continuing flow of superyachts to Mallorca, where favorable weather persisted beyond the summer.

Netto II can accommodate 14 guests in seven suites, with 21 crew members serving alongside the captain, according to the Bulletin. The vessel can reach 16.5 knots and travel 5,000 nautical miles.

A speakeasy-style bar draws on 1960s casinos in the interior created by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design. Outside, the distinctive dolphin-blue hull is part of exterior designer Espen Øino's design.

Fold-out balconies at the stern extend the yacht's three-sided beach club. There is also a helipad, gym, sauna, and spa, per the Bulletin.

Its swimming pool measures 6.5 meters (21.3 feet), while a 200-square-meter (2,153-square-foot) sun deck fits a whirlpool and dining areas.

Six guest staterooms occupy the main deck, and the owner's suite takes up an entire deck, the outlet reported.

What's being done?

The yacht maximizes natural light to reduce reliance on electric lighting, but the Bulletin did not quantify the energy savings associated with that design choice.

According to the report, the superyacht is registered in the Cayman Islands and is classed by Lloyd's Register.
