Disney is rolling out another round of park price hikes, including a record-setting top price for a one-day Magic Kingdom ticket.

Here's what to know

According to KIRO 7 News Seattle, Disney is increasing prices on some tickets, annual passes, and line-skipping options. The highest one-day admission will be a $229 Magic Kingdom ticket on Christmas Day and New Year's Eve in 2027. Those tickets cost $209 this year.

The changes are not the same across every park. Animal Kingdom, the lowest-priced park at Disney World, will still offer a one-day ticket for $119.

Every annual pass tier is also going up in price. The Incredi-Pass — the only pass sold to all guests and the only one without blackout dates — will cost $120 more, while the Sorcerer Pass and Pirate Pass are each rising by $40 and the Florida-resident Pixie Dust Pass is increasing by $10.

Disney's Single Pass service for select rides is due for what CNN called "a moderate increase," per KIRO 7, while the Lightning Lane Premiere Pass may climb by up to $50. Parking costs and the Lightning Lane Multi Pass will remain at existing prices.

More background

Because Disney prices tickets by both the park and date, the total cost of a trip can vary widely. The biggest spikes hit visitors traveling during holidays.

The cheaper pass tiers are the most restricted. Pixie Dust Pass holders cannot use it during weekends, peak periods, or holidays, while the Pirate Pass and Sorcerer Pass also exclude high-demand dates. That makes those low-cost options less useful.

Disneyland increased some prices as well, though the changes were selective. Mid-tier tickets rose 3% to 4%, and park hopper passes climbed $5 to $10, USA Today reported, as KIRO 7 relayed.

Disneyland's Magic Key annual pass prices and other tickets, by contrast, stayed the same.
