A kitten named Dottie found weaving through highway traffic in Dubai got a second chance after a rescue changed the course of her life.
After being taken off a dangerous roadway, Dottie's story shifted toward recovery — and eventually toward an unlikely bond with the household's grumpiest cat.
Here's what to know
Carmen brought Dottie to a vet after spotting the kitten weaving through traffic on a Dubai highway.
As The Dodo (@thedodo) showed in a TikTok video, the kitten was deeply frightened at first.

One of the clearest signs of that progress came at home, where she eventually won over Frankie, described as "the grumpiest cat in the house."
What's being done?
The most important step happened immediately: Carmen got Dottie off the highway and ensured she received veterinary attention.
